Sr. Prinicipal Business Development Representative
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Business Development Representative to support domestic business development and capture. This position will be located in Mesa, AZ location.

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
This role is in Armament System Division’s Strategy & Business Development Segment and will report directly to the Guns and Ammunition Business Strategy Team Lead.
The new Rep’s primary responsibility is to identify new business opportunities for us and developing and communicating capture strategies for these opportunities. Working with the Guns and Ammunition Segments, this individual will support the preparation of both strategic and tactical capture management plans. This individual will also pro-actively create, cultivate and enhance relationships with current and potential customers and key contacts in industry and Government to identify new business opportunities. They will also work with ASD Marketing personnel to identify market direction and trends.
- 9+ years of DoD sector work
- 9+ years in Business Development, Marketing, Program Management, or Engineering
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- US citizenship required
- Demonstrated experience in effective and successful negotiations
- Experience in the Ordnance Industry dealing with ITAR controlled items
- 50% Travel Required
- BS degree with min. 9 years' experience
- Previous military experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team player
- Results oriented
