Job Summary:

The Business Development Specialist will report to the Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) Business Development Director and assist in the management of market area orders reports, discretionary budgets, strategy documents, and customer engagement plans necessary for domestic and international pursuits/engagements.

Other responsibilities include managing internal and external customer contact plans, tracking Discretionary spending (Bid and Proposal, Selling, IR&D) efforts within the market area, coordinating the business capture pursuits, tracking proposal management funding/opportunities, coordinating SMA communications activities with division-level Communications Director to ensure thoughtful and supportive messaging, branding, and recognition (to include media coverage) necessary to achieve market area objectives.

Will pro-actively participate in cultivating and enhancing relationships with current and potential customers and key contacts in industry and Foreign Government to identify new business opportunities.

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

Computer Experience: Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and Window required. General computer understanding and systems implementation methodology required.
