Sr Electrical Engineer (DOD Secret Clearance required)

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Chandler, AZ. US Citizenship is required. Active Secret Clearance is required.
Based on specific objectives, perform analysis, design, or test of complex designs, without detailed direction from more senior engineers. Study design concepts and criteria to ascertain the engineering principles involved and with general direction, plan, prepare, and complete the design. Evaluate completed design with more senior engineers and other technical groups and make modifications necessary to achieve the ideal design. Develop, coordinate and conduct the test programs required to evaluate the design. Travel of up to 25% of the time may be required.
- Candidate shal possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of related experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience in space launch vehicle design, launch vehicle and payload integration, system test and vehicle launch activities.
- Ability to grasp system level concepts and aid in functional partitioning of existing systems to the end of developing functional system drawings.
- Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is a plus.
Position may be filled one level lower depending on candidate's education and experience.
