Description:

As the Sr. Engineering Technician, you will work closely with Engineers to support and improve operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receives and disburses material or parts to internal and external customers requesting material transactions.

  • Verifies material or equipment and amounts against information on various incoming and outgoing documents.

  • Locates parts/materials in proper storage areas in accordance with manufacturing procedures.

  • Maintains records of materials received, disbursed, shipped and on hand.

  • Responsible for assuring inventory accuracy and record integrity through cycle counting and auditing of all physical inventories and monitoring all inventory transactions and records.

  • Reconciles complex material and equipment physical/records discrepancies.

  • Performs administrative tasks associated with assisting area supervision.

  • Performs other clerical or material handling duties as required.

  • Demonstrates individual ownership for action items in projects as assigned

  • Work is performed under general oversight

  • Contacts are primarily internal company contacts including supervisors and group professionals.

Experience & Preferred Skills:

  • Communicates effectively both written and orally with Engineers and Program Planners

  • Strong organizational skills – able to work multiple assignments

  • Experience with ordering and/or organizing electronic components & material

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma with minimum 4 years of related experience
