Job Summary

Perform analysis, design, or test of one or more complex designs, which require use of ingenuity and creativity and without detailed direction from more senior engineers. Based on generally defined problems, study design concepts and criteria to ascertain the engineering principles involved. Without detailed direction, plan, prepare, and complete the design. Evaluate completed design with more senior engineers and other technical groups and make modifications necessary to achieve a design that satisfies requirements. Develop, coordinate, and conduct the test programs required to evaluate the design.

May also oversee component supplier design, analysis, manufacture, and test. May also oversee, with senior engineer support, subsystem supplier design, analysis, manufacture, and test.

Job Description

  • Principle Electrical Engineer and technical lead for Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH, passive radar) system
  • Keep troubleshooting tasks and diagnosing ARH issues on track


  • Analyze ARH data and support ARH flight data analysis
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose ARH issues at subsystem and RF processor levels
  • Improve ARH subsystem tests and procedures
  • Provide and implement technical solutions to ARH system problems
  • Organize and contribute to completion of test and evaluation tasks
  • Represent company as ARH technical contact
  • Interact with senior engineering personnel on technical matters
  • Help coordinate issue resolution between various engineering disciplines


  • BS Engineering or Physics degree and at least 7 years’   experience or MS Engineering or Physics degree and at least 5 years in a radar or lidar related industry. M.S. degree and DoD contractor experience preferred.
  • Require an excellent understanding of radar or RF systems
  • Knowledge of radar or RF systems, RF processor board evaluation, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscope
  • Skills in programming: Matlab required
  • Demonstrated experience in the production of radar systems.
  • In-depth understanding and application of radar technical expertise
  • Works with minimal direction
  • Independently determines and develops technical   objectives of assignments
  • Innovative problem solving
  • Ability to obtain secret security clearance required. Active secret security clearance preferred.
