 Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Overview:

Works under general supervision of more senior Vehicle Engineers to monitor on-orbit telemetry, and initial trending & analysis.  Supports the development, implementation, and communication of solutions to routine technical problems.  Demonstrates a general working knowledge of geosynchronous spacecraft operations.  Works in a real-time operations environment supporting a fleet of on-orbit satellites, to include both nominal and off-nominal operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires BS & 4 years or Masters Degree & 2 years or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • Requires a current TS/SCI clearance
  • Requires the ability to work nights and weekends in support of real-time satellite operations
  • Experience with real-time satellite operations is required
  • Experience with Linux desired, but not required
