Must understand and utilize plant maintenance system software such as plant maintenance dispatch system, Maximo or comparable CMMs system, e-mail, push to talk phone, and H-2 hand held or equivalent device.

Performances complex preventative and emergency electrical and electronic maintenance on automated hig speed ammunition manufacturing equipment and related systems with no assistance.

Program and troubleshoot PLCs, Panelview software and motor drives.

Troubleshoot new equipment with the assistance of laptops, engineering and wiring diagrams.

Implement new design changes on automated equipment.

Analyzes and corrects any operating problems with no assistance.

May assist others by performing mechanical maintenance or equipment operation functions.

Does electrical repairs on equipment and lighting systems.

Make basic red line changes to existing engineering drawings, does minor Auto Cad work with proficiency.

Trains other employees regarding job functions and related skills as directed.

Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.

Obeys safety rules and regulations and wears proper safety equipment.

Performs other associated and comparable duties as assigned.


2 Year Electronics degree, VO-Tech Certification or equivalent required.

Certificate of diploma from a trade or VO-Tech school or military equivalent that is state accredited by the National Association.

Show training certifications for PLC training classes.

Five years minimum verifiable electronic experience or equivalent.

AutoCad certification from an acredited source.
